I am an award-winning journalist who specializes in money, business and finance. My multimedia series for MSN Money, "Launch Your Life," explores money topics for people in their 20s and 30s and has been viewed by millions of people worldwide.

Previous staff positions include financial reporter for the Associated Press in New York, health-care reporter for a daily newspaper in Phoenix, editor of a news digest based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and reporter and photographer for the Valdosta Daily Times in South Georgia. I grew up in Sycamore, Ill., and live in New York City.
